Jessie recently retired from Grand Forks Public Schools and is now consulting, coaching, and providing professional learning facilitation and training. Prior to retirement, Jessie served the students and teachers at Grand Forks School Districts as the District Assessment Coordinator and K12 Curriculum-Technology Integrationist. In total, serving over three decades as a K12 educator in varied roles within the Grand Forks Schools. Jessie is the President of the North Dakota Association of Technology Leaders (ISTE Affiliate) and an ISTE Community Leader. Jessie has been a Podcast guest speaker and has published articles and Blog Posts highlighting teaching and learning with technology.

Cathy Houchin has been teaching for over 42 years. As an elementary music teacher, Cathy loves infusing technology into her classes. She has presented at many conferences including ISTE, FETC, SLATE, TEAC,MACUL and WMEA. For many years, Cathy volunteered with ISTE'S Art and Technology PLN and served in many capacities including president. Currently, she is semi-retired and teaching part-time for the district's eCampus as a special coordinator.

She is an ISTE Certified Educator, Discovery Education Leadership Council Member, Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Innovator, and is a National Board Certified Teacher with an MBA Degree. She enjoys working and collaborating with staff and students to create opportunities for all.

Session description

We will walk to Union Station in Denver and explore the wonderful architecture it offers. This railroad station was built in 1881. It features many wonderful details including a 180 foot tower clock in the center of the building. You will love the details of this historical building.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of the walk is to network with individuals from around the world as we take photos of the beautiful Denver Union Station. As we snap photos various photography tips and tricks will be discussed. With the help of the participants, photography apps and ideas will shared with all.
