Purpose & objective
Participants will understand how we used the ISTE standards to develop a framework of professional development to support a BYOD program.
Participants will learn about the professional development model we utilized to deliver instruction to 120 teachers monthly.
Participants will receive resources that were shared with our staff to support the professional development strands selected for each monthly session.
Participants will understand our use of a technology integration rubric to assess staff 3 times a year. Participants will review how using the SAMR model as a component of an assessment is beneficial to changing instruction.
This session will utilize storytelling as the primary way of delivering information. These stories will help participants understand the steps to creating, implementing and supporting a BYOD program.
