Tips and FAQ

Your best bet is to plan ahead by creating your schedule on the conference website or mobile app.

For sessions that are highly interactive, if you’ve missed the first 10 or 15 minutes it can be hard to catch up so we strive to fill the room with participants who are on time and ready to learn.

The purpose of session registration is to minimize the amount of time you have to stand in line and this practice is typical of many conferences. If you miss the chance to register for a session in advance, you can visit the Registration area at the conference to see if seats are still available.

Each conference center is different with regard to the size and number of rooms available. In each location, we do our best to maximize seating (for Lectures, BYODs, etc.) while still keeping the learning environment small enough to be able to interact with presenters (where possible) and allow for a more enjoyable attendee experience.

Make yourself comfortable

The ISTE conference can be exciting, thought provoking and stimulating. In fact, sometimes it can be overstimulating. If you need a calm space away from the crowds, or just a relaxing location to work, visit one of the following spaces designed with your comfort in mind.

Oasis spaces

Recharge your body and mind — not to mention your devices — Oasis spaces are located outside the Four Seasons Ballroom and in the E Concourse near Lobby D. Visit an Oasis to relax, hydrate, power up or just take a breather.

Podcasting Room

Podcasters and videographers: Tired of crowd noise in the background of your audio recordings? Room 208 is available as a dedicated, noise-free interview space. Please check in at the Press Room (202) for its availability.

The Go Gourmet Café in Lobby B and the Blue Bear Café in Lobby A are perfect places for you to grab a bite or take a seat. There are also several concession stands open throughout the convention center if you need food on the go.

Additional Accomodations

Mother’s Room

ISTE supports its littlest learners! A nursing mother’s room is available in Lobby A for attendees’ use.

A gender neutral restroom is located at the end of the 500 Corridor.

ADA info

An ADA Mini Shuttle will be available on an on-call basis. Attendees are to call 303-228-8409 at least 30 minutes prior to desired pick up time for service.
