Let's make an impact in Denver!
The vision of ISTE is a world where all learners thrive, achieve and contribute. In keeping with that philosophy, the ISTE Conference & Expo is committed to environmental stewardship and community collaboration.
ISTE is collecting donations for two local shelters:
Families with children make up the fastest growing segment of the homeless population. Separated from school and community, homeless children are vulnerable to violence and at greater risk for health problems. Family HomeStead has provided safe, independent housing to homeless families in Denver for more than 30 years.
The Delores Project
The Delores Project provides safe, comfortable shelter and individualized services to unaccompanied women experiencing homelessness.
Updated lists of current needs can be found on the organizations’ websites. Examples include:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead Now, imagine what a large group of thoughtful, committed people can do if we all pitch in a few items!
Big thanks for helping us deliver your donations to these worthy organizations!
