Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

ISTE and the Metiri Group collaborated to develop the Digital Learning Pathways to provide educators a wealth of resources and content to build deeper knowledge in the 2016 ISTE Standards for Students and to apply them in the classroom.


This session will:
· Tour the Digital Learning Pathways and its features including instructional strategies, tech integration strategies, scenarios, rubrics, teacher reflections and more
· Explore the various models for how the Digital Learning Pathways can be used by individuals, schools or districts

Dr. Jody Britten, The Metiri Group

Jody Britten, PhD, is the senior associate at Metiri Group. Her work focuses on K12 implementation and support for digital learning, research/evaluation/policy for digital learning, and the ISTE Standards, including keynote speaking, professional development, collaborative partnerships, funding innovation, and designing tactical plans to support long-term success for K-20 innovation.

Cheryl Lemke, Metiri Group

Dr. Sarah Stoeckl, ISTE

Sarah Stoeckl, PhD, is senior project manager in the ISTE Standards department. Her work focuses on K12 implementation and support for the ISTE Standards, including professional development, community building, communications, and refreshing the ISTE Standards. She's also into badges and micro-credentials, educational equity, rock climbing, and dogs.
