Discuss and debate the relevance of some of the more "traditional" subjects and course of studies with The Seditionists from the hit YouTube channel. We'll discuss teaching handwriting in schools, doing away with spelling tests and other hot topics.

Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

Participants will be provided with a platform to discuss the future of education and what that might mean to their more traditional subjects and lessons.
The debate style of this presentation will give the audience an opportunity to mold and shape the presentation in a way that best suits their concerns.
Participants will have an opportunity to hear the latest research on curricular relevance on such topics as: handwriting, spelling, typing, fact memorization, general communication and more


The presentation will start with an example of the industrial revolution style of teaching with a brief explanation of its roots and needed demise.
The topics will be shared one at a time and the audience being given opportunities to ask questions, debate comments and discuss their agreement or disagreement with the Seditionists positions.
