Sam Sakai-Miller, author of "Innovation Age Education: Empowering Students by Empowering Teachers," serves as Director of Technology Integration Services for the San Lorenzo Unified School District (near Oakland, CA). After teaching for 10 years, Sam focused her energies on furthering ed tech after witnessing how technology enhanced learning and teaching. Her current area of research is in helping learners of all ages to thrive in the Innovation Age. As an educational consultant, Sam presented in 19 states. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University's Online Masters Program in Educational Technology and Doctoral Program in Educational Technology.
