Laura Bello

ISTE bites biography She is a 9-12 Science teacher at Instituto ASJ in Guadalajara , México She is passionate about teaching and learning innovation. She thinks that teachers have to be competent and flexible in the use of 21st century skills to offer their students authentic learning experiences. For over 3 years Laura has been developing several strategies that include technology as a main tool to enhance the teaching-learning process. By doing this Laura has achieved a high engagement level with middle and high scholars in STEM fields. She affirmed: "With technology, Science class has never been the same".


Barbara Bray, Rethinking Learning/Personalize Learning

Barbara is a creative learning strategist who is on a mission to transform learning so all learners have agency. She is owner/founder of My eCoach (my-ecoach.com), blogs at Rethinking Learning (barbarabray.net) and is a co-founder of Personalize Learning, LLC. She co-authored Make Learning Personal and How to Personalize Learning. Barbara uses design thinking and Universal Design for Learning to create a process for teachers and learners to create, tinker, explore, discover, and innovate to bring joy and wonder to learning.


Dr. Wesley Fryer, Casady School

Dr. Wesley Fryer is the Director of Technology for Casady School in Oklahoma City. As a teacher, author, speaker, EdCamp organizer, and digital storyteller, Wes supports innovation, creativity, STEM, and engaged learning in schools.


Kara Gann, Schoology/ Smith & Gann Ed Consulting

Kara Gann has been a classroom teacher, an instructional technology coach, a district level administrator, Director of Integration and is currently a Strategic Account Manager at Schoology and Executive Director of Smith and Gann Educational Consulting. She has served in many capacities for the International Society for Technology in Education including on the Board of Directors and as Workshop and BYOD Chair for ISTE 2012 and 2014. Kara has been published works in educational magazines and blogs. She holds a M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University and a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming.


Bret Gensburg, University Of Akron

A former high school mathematics teacher, Bret now shares his passion for teaching and learning with educators around the globe. He is Google certified and a SMART Exemplary Educator. Bret's lively and animated presentations are sure to keep you entertained and informed with the focus on instruction leading technology not technology leading instruction.

She joined the ISTE professional learning team to support Malaysia's Education Leadership May 2016 and Singapore's Ministry of Education in Jan & March 2010. Kim returned to Singapore in March 2013 to celebrate their coaching successes; she provided additional ISTE Coaching opportunities in US districts across the US and US Virgin Islands.2012-Present, CO Technology Leadership Forum co-facilitator and 2009-2016 Board of Director for Innovative Education Colorado. Most recently, Kim served as a National School Board Association 2017 conference panelist.

Courtney Pepe is very proud to be the District Supervisor of Instructional Technology in the Perth Amboy School District in New Jersey with over 10, 000 students. Mrs. Pepe is passionate about the use of educational technology to amplify student voice for ELL, special education, and gifted and talented students. Mrs. Pepe is also an Adjunct Professor in the Educational Leadership Department at Kean University. She has been actively involved in the movement to better prepare aspiring school administrators to become 21st century digital leaders.


Ed Snow, Milton School District

Ed Snow is a high energy, people first, passionate, EdTech leader. Ed is one of the Co-founders of LETSGO-WI, and has hosted several Ed-CAMPS. Ed is a board member for the Wisconsin Technology Education Leaders Association (WETL). Ed has presented at state conferences such as WEMTA, Brainstorm, and Slate. and international conferences, such as Skyward iCon, ISTE, and CoSN. In 2013 Ed helped launch one of Wisconsin's first K-12 1:1 programs. Ed holds a degree in hardware, software, networking, customer service, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
