Why volunteer?

  • Become part of a special community who drive the conference’s success.
  • Learn a new skill.
  • Make new connections that reach beyond your volunteer shift.
  • Get exclusive volunteer gear.

What are the requirements to be a volunteer?

  • Must be a registered attendee.
  • Must have flexibility and availability to serve during the conference.
  • Must be reliable and on-time for each assigned duty.
  • Must demonstrate a positive, helpful and friendly disposition.

Give a few hours

Shorter volunteer shifts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing you to schedule 1-3 hour shifts based on your availability and preferences. These event support positions are perfect for attendees who have busy schedules at the conference or are new to ISTE. The job will be simple enough for you to learn in five minutes. Registration refunds are not available for this program and you will automatically have access to this program without completing an application. Visit your account to create your volunteer schedule. NOTE: You must be currently registered for ISTE 2018 to volunteer.

FULL! Apply to be a Volunteer Champion

Get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the ISTE Conference! Volunteer Champions will not only guide attendees as they navigate the conference, but they also act as a resource to fellow volunteers. Champions volunteer 8 hours at the conference and receive a registration upon completion of their scheduled shifts. Limited positions are available and we regret that we may not be able to utilize every applicant. If you are not accepted as a Volunteer Champion, you will be able to help us with one of our shorter shifts as outlined above.

All Volunteer Champion positions have been filled. Thank you to everyone who applied! The call for ISTE 2019 Volunteer Champions will open in December.
