Join Teacher Education Network leaders and community members to learn how they incorporate the ISTE Standards for Educators into their practice and prepare current and future teachers for doing the same. At this interactive playground, you will discover digital tools, learning activities, and PD ideas for the ISTE*E Standards.

Purpose & objective

This playground will focus on ideas, tools, and strategies for incorporating the ISTE Standards for Educators into teaching and learning.

Outline

There will be 7 stations - one for each of the standards. Station leaders will be recruited from the Teacher Education Network community.

I teach Spanish and STEAM. I am also an attorney and have a Master’s in Instructional Technology. I am the President for Teacher Education Network, Communications Chair for ISTE Mobile Learning Network. I was selected as the 2017 Outstanding Teacher of the Year by PAECT and by NSBA as one of "20 to watch" educators. I am proud to be a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, an Ambassador for Buncee, Flipgrid, Hoonuit, and an Edmodo Certified Trainer, Nearpod PioNear, and TES Ambassador . I wrote chapter 3 of “Snapshot in Education 2016”, and Chapter 6 of “Gamify Literacy” from ISTE.
