What the ISTE Standards can do for you and your system
Wendy Drexler is currently an Assistant Professor of Educational Technology at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to that, Wendy served as Chief Innovation Officer for ISTE. As Director of Online Development at Brown University, she led the design and production of Brown’s first online courses. As a post doc at the University of Florida, she managed the research portion of the Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) federal Title II grant across 23 school districts in Florida. She has managed eLearning teams at IBM and AT&T, and has taught in elementary, middle, and high school.
Kara has been a classroom teacher, instructional technology coach, district level administrator, Director of Integration and is currently a Sr. Client Success Manager at Schoology. She is Co-Owner and Executive Director of Smith and Gann Educational Consulting. She was on the Board of Directors for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). Kara has presented at a number of national conferences and published works in educational magazines and blogs. She holds a M.Ed. in Educational Administration and a B.A. in Elementary Education.
