One of the most underutilized tools in G Suite is Google Drawing. And when we do use it, we only ask students to create graphic organizers and timelines. Let's design something beautiful instead! I'll teach you a design process that helps you create killer graphics, sweet logos and fantastic social media filters.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this session is to introduce the design process to amplify creativity when students are designing visual communication elements (flyers, posters, logos, packaging, social media resources, etc.) for projects. Participants will: learn and establish a design process learn the basics of graphic design identify and use best practices when planning a graphic be introduced to several web-based graphic design tools and resources select the appropriate digital tool for creating graphics
