The first five days of school can prepare students to "learn how to learn" improving student achievement all year. Asking questions, finding answers, designing tutorials, self assessment, peer-to-peer support and authentic audience leads to a culture of empowered learning. Teachers save valuable time and students are inspired.

10 minutes Day Three - Teaching students how to build a collaborative culture
10 minutes Day Four - Teaching students to self assess
10 minutes Day Five - Teaching students how to build a global network
