Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

Educators will have the opportunity to participate in a hands on workshop learning how to share their most innovative stories, lessons or ideas in the form of TED style talks. During this workshop, educators will identify and discuss the qualities of great ideas, generate a short, prioritized list of their talk ideas, and draft a through-line for a potential TED style talk.

Outline

TED will provide an overview of TED Masterclass and samples of the first four modules of the course. Each module consists of an animated video and activities. We will go through the first four modules with the attendees. This includes watching the animation, discussing with a partner (or their table) and jotting down notes and potential ideas.
