Explore the three instructional shifts, inspired by the ISTE Standards for Students, used to change the way students curate, process and communicate information. You will leave with a strategic plan for implementation across a school or district, as well as best practices for classroom instruction.

Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

Participants will know a structure that can be copied or adapted to implement systematic technology skill integration into their curriculum. The resources provided will lay the groundwork for straightforward implementation in the own district or school.
Participants will know instructional strategies and shifts that can be made to their classroom instruction to enhance meaningful research, thought, and communication. All of the strategies are sound instruction that can be used with varying levels of technology integration.
