Purpose & objective

The purpose of the Education Leaders Playground is to provide a space for PLN members to share and learn with one another. The playground will be set up in stations and will provide support for PLN members to share best practices, ideas, and successes that support the ISTE Standards for Education Leaders. This playground is an opportunity for all levels of education leaders to interact with the refreshed standards and share concrete techniques in a fun, hands-on environment.

The playground will have six 45-minute revolving stations on strands listed below. Two seated areas will also offer presentations and conversations on the elements necessary to promote and leverage technology within these strands.

Visionary Planner
Empowering Leader
Systems Designer
Connected Learner

Participants in the playground will be engaged with one another and the presenters at each station through one-on-one and paired conversations, hands-on demonstrations and experiments, and games.
