Where is your organization on its journey to edtech effectiveness for all students? Join our workshop and learn to evaluate and enhance your district’s edtech effectiveness framework, processes and ROI. You will receive access to free tools for identifying edtech usage, assessing operational needs and improving your edtech management infrastructure. You will come away with next steps custom to your organization to better organize, streamline and analyze your edtech tools to improve outcomes and budgets. By June 19, take 10 minutes to complete this district assessment and review your custom report.

Purpose & objective

Participants will:
1. Complete the research-based EdTech Effectiveness Framework district assessment to benchmark your district and improve your systems and practices
2. Gain basic understanding for how to evaluate the impact of your edtech aligned to ESSA levels of evidence and determine ROI including research design, data requirements and analysis
3. Identify strategies and tools for identifying and managing your edtech including inventory fidelity of usage, compliance, and teacher feedback.


1. Goals / Overview (5 min)
2. EdTech Effectiveness Framework Assessment - Introduction to the district assessment tool, discussion of results from districts completing it prior to event. (20 min)
3. Analyizing EdTech at time of ESSA Evidence Standards - Primer on Rapid Cycle Evaluation, including examples and discussion (25 min)
4. Tips & Tools to Identify, Organize & Streamline EdTech - Introduction to several no-cost tools including ISTE Edtech Advisor (5 min)
5. Action Steps / Resources (5 min)
