Purpose:
The purpose of this session is to demonstrate how three free digital tools can promote and enhance metacognition in students. Flipgrid, Screencastify, and Educreations allow students to explain their thinking, increase meaningful discourse, encourage reflection, and strengthen critical thinking skills. Educators will receive lesson ideas in all subject areas, directions and resources on how to use each tool, and multiple student examples.
