The ISTE Standards for Students are there to guide educators in designing instructional experiences to engage students while preparing those students for the future. However, time for instruction is limited. These creative presenters will share practical ways to infuse all of the standards in innovative activities.

Participants will have the opportunity throughout the session to post to a backchannel.
Participants will be exposed to a variety of instructional activities which infuse the ISTE Standards for Students.
Participants will learn ways to modify those activities to accommodate a variety of grade levels, subject areas, and levels of competency.
At the conclusion of the session, tips for creating activities using ISTE Standards for Students in the design of an instructional activity will be summarized.
At the conclusion of the session, comments & suggestions from the backchannel will be addressed by the presenters.
Welcome and Introductions (5 min) - invite questions and comments to backchannel
Overview of the ISTE Standards for Students (5 min)
Activities - Each presenter will share an activity infusing most of (if not all) the ISTE standards in a single activity (10 min each for a total of 40 min).
- Included in each activity will contain ideas for using in a variety of
grade levels and subject areas
- Overall, through all activities presented, the goal is to cover most grade levels, most subject areas, most levels of competency.
Tips for designing activities using ISTE Standards / Share submissions to backchannel / Closing Comments (10 min)
