Dr. Casey Cohen is the Director of Technology Innovation and STEM Programs for the Rose Tree Media School District and a member of the Apple Distinguished Educator class of 2015.
Ming Shelby is a National Board Certified educator who has dedicated her career to inspiring students, teachers, and administrators through learning experiences. She believes that courage is the critical ingredient for student transformation. To create communities where courage thrives, we must design intentional learning experiences, be authentic in our own learning process, and offer specific, strategic support. She currently is an education and leadership consultant and an instructional coach in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Ming has facilitated workshops for adults and youth in Asia, Australia, Europe, and the United States.Ming Shelby is a National Board Certified educator who has dedicated her career to inspiring students, teachers and administrators through learning experiences. She believes that courage is the critical ingredient for student transformation, and that to create communities where courage thrives, we must design intentional learning experiences, be authentic in our own learning process and offer specific, strategic support. Ming is currently an instructional coach in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and an education and leadership consultant. She organizes and staffs programs among 28 buildings, writes curriculum, coaches fellow educators and administrators, and facilitates programs for students and staff. She has facilitated workshops for adults and youth in Asia, Australia, Europe and the United States. Ming has a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in educational psychology, with a specialty in curriculum, technology and educational reform, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also holds an Ed.S. in administration and supervision, and an English as a second language endorsement.
Josh is an award winning presenter and author. He received the 'Making IT Happen' award in 2017 and the ISTE Emerging Leader award in 2018. He was also on the NSBA '20 Tech Leaders to Watch' list in 2016. He has presented at conferences around the country on the topics of creating videos in the classroom, gamification, and school redesign. He is also currently a part of the Kansas School Redesign project redesigning his school. He hosts a series of podcasts including the Kansas Moonshot Podcast, the AwesomeSauce podcast, and the Stories from room 508 podcast.
