Be on the cutting edge of current research about the brain to better understand the science of learning. This session will address popular ideas about the brain and learning, and key strategies for how to apply neuroscience to your teaching and decision-making for schools and districts. Then explore our award-winning Your Brain exhibit and our other hands-on permanent exhibits throughout the museum.
Julia Skolnik is the Assistant Director of Professional Development at The Franklin Institute. She oversees professional development initiatives and partnerships with school districts and out-of-school time organizations, as well as develops and leads workshops for educators and corporate professionals.
