Grow the next generation of digital creators

The ISTE Creative Constructor Lab is a two-day interactive learning experience where you’ll discover how to create vibrant, media-rich learning environments to help grow the next generation of creators!

Designed exclusively for educators, participants will learn how to use the ISTE Standards for Educators and the ISTE Standards for Students to support creative problem-solving and digital knowledge construction.

The program is packed with offsite adventures, creation time, workshops, lightning talks and a final attendee showcase. Active learning opportunities include:

  • Exploration and application of design thinking to create innovative digital learning environments.
  • Activities that support the use of digital tools and resources across content areas and curriculum frameworks.
  • Sharing of classroom creativity models that nurture students’ various expressions of learning and communication of ideas and knowledge.
  • Skill-building around tools for creating and integrating media-rich resources, such as podcasts or videos, to maximize active, deep learning.
  • Resource sharing and co-creation of digital learning materials to support pedagogies such as blended, flipped and personalized learning.

“This was the best conference I’ve attended in years. Having such knowledgeable and motivating speakers was just what I needed for inspiration. It was great to have time to plan projects and tinker with new things.” - 2018 ISTE CCL attendee
