Wanda Terral, Lakeland School System
Wanda Terral, Ed.D., is the director of technology for the Lakeland School System in Tennessee and a freelance educational consultant. She has 24 years of experience in education. A former band director, Terral is constantly seeking information on techniques and practices related to the use of technology to empower students and educators. A Google Certified Innovator & Trainer, she shares resources online and at conferences nationwide, including the ISTE Conference & Expo, the Georgia Educational Technology Conference, the Future of Education Technology Conference and the Texas Computer Education Association Convention & Exposition. Her doctoral research focused on self-directed professional learning for educators. Terral is an advocate for the use of sketchnoting in the classroom, and is a co-founder of the #Sketch50 movement. She’s also a spotlight speaker for EdTechTeam and a learning guide for friEdTechnology.
