Sam Atkeson

Sam Atkeson is a senior manager on the Advocacy and Public Partnerships team at DonorsChoose, partnering with school districts to help teachers access the classroom resources they need. In collaboration with technology administrators, Atkeson works to align DonorsChoose with district technology requirements, and helps teachers request devices that can be supported by the district. Prior to joining DonorsChoose, Atkeson managed partnerships at Clever, an edtech startup based in San Francisco. He has written about digital learning for Education Week, and taught English in Argentina on a Fulbright Fellowship. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political and social thought from the University of Virginia.
