Over the past several months, ISTE has been working diligently to navigate the COVID-19 crisis and identify ways to best serve the educator community during these times. As previously announced, ISTE20 has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 28-Tuesday, December 1, in Anaheim, California. This decision was made with the health and safety of participants as our top priority, and that will continue to drive decision-making moving forward.
The reality of rescheduling an event as large as ISTE20 comes with profound complexity and the team is working diligently to remap and reset the programmatic and logistical details. The ISTE20 program team has been communicating with presenters to understand availability and is adjusting formats to better suit the new dates.
As we continue to make decisions and solidify details, we’re compiling information for you on an attendee FAQ page. Although we hope all participants will be available to attend on the new dates, we understand that in some cases scheduling conflicts or restrictions may make that impossible for some. In this case, please email directly to select your options for reallocating or refunding your registration fees.
As an organization, ISTE is doing a number of things to support educators during this new age in learning and teaching. Be sure to check out the Learning Keeps Going site, where a coalition of organizations and our network of corporate partners have mobilized to share resources and support for teachers and schools around the world. Also, please visit and participate in the COVID-19 Educator Help Desk, a launch pad of problem-solving and discussion for brave educators everywhere.
The resilience and creativity of the global educator community continues to be the fuel that powers us as an organization, and we are so grateful.
