Purpose & objective

Participants will come away with a knowledge of how to contact local water districts to access conservation funds for educational purposes.
Participants will have access to all lesson plans, digital material, FlipGrid codes etc, and have the ability to make a copy to modify it to meet their needs
Participants will see real life artifacts as well as video and pictoral representations of all phases of the project

I am a 5/6 Combo teacher with a passion for teaching with purpose. I believe... Deep learning engages the whole student. At the same time, deep learning requires intensive preparation. Collaboration and reflection are necessary parts of being the best I can be as a human and teacher. The cross curricular approach to learning is absolutely magical. Above all I believe, it is important to intentionally make connections with our students. As the old adage goes, "They won't care what you know, until they know that you care."
