Having students produce bulletins for your school is easier than you think! Learn how elementary and middle school students plan, script, film and edit videos for weekly or monthly broadcasts. Videos can be created with simple tools, offer students skills in video production, and develop a sense of campus pride.

Purpose:
Attendees will learn easy ways to get started with video bulletins for their campus.
Objectives:
* Attendees will explore a variety of student examples at both the elementary and intermediate levels;
* Attendees will receive digital copies of extensive planning tools for producing a comprehensive episode for their own campus;
* Attendees will learn about differences in programs such as WeVideo, iMovie, and others to help determine the best program to use for their own campus;
* Attendees will learn tips, tricks, and pitfalls to avoid in order to prepare themselves for possible roadblocks with their own attempts in video production; and
* Attendees will see how the use of YouTube will support sharing productions with their community at large.
