Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

This session will introduce poster visitors to the International Days section of TakingITGlobal’s website. Internationally Recognized Days promote issues of international interest and can easily be integrated into classrooms to support cultural understanding and global awareness with the educational resources and links made available through TakingITGlobal

Educators will learn how to explore the International Days taking place each month, locate supporting resources, and examine specific classroom applications. Visitors will get an overview of how International Days can be incorporated into classroom learning while linking to several subject outcomes.
