Purpose & objective

Few topics are as top-of-mind in secondary education as Career Preparation and Employability Skills. But what does this look like in a high school classroom? In this session, we’ll discuss how to embed career preparation and employability skills into everyday instruction, regardless of subject area. We’ll explore ways to use the latest technology and pedagogy to prepare students for the 21st-century workforce. Attendees will collaborate with other educators and come away with concrete ideas for embedding employability skills into their content-area lessons, as well as turnkey lesson plans from EVERI explicitly focused on career exploration and readiness. To get the most out of this session, bring a device and your pacing guide or planning materials.
