Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

Participants will be able to turn confusing and difficult to read spreadsheets into easy to understand, interactive, and fun data dashboards.

Participants will create a tool that they can share with key stakeholders to easily interpret and act on school assessment data.

Introduction (10 minutes): Who I am, what my dashboards look like, and how they have been used to improve teaching and learning at my school.

Gather resources (5 minutes): Participants will use a qr code or a link to access my sample Google Sheets spreadsheet data. They will copy this Google Sheet to their personal account.

Google Data Studio Orientation & Import (10 minutes): Participants will be introduced to Google Data Studio. I'll show off the major feature and demonstrate how to navigate everything that they will need to know. They will also learn how to import their Google Sheet data into Data Studio.
