The purpose of this session is to inspire educators to go beyond traditional uses of presentation applications to become creators who design learning that will empower learners to create, innovate, and construct knowledge.
Introductions and Warm Up Activity - Circle Challenge - 10 minutes
Learning Lab - 15 minutes
Facilitators will demonstrate three of their favorite Keynote Creations from the book. Participants will be encouraged to practice with us.
Demo 1: Vocabulary Animations
Demo 2: Instant Alpha Adventures
Demo 3: Scratch Offs
Creation Lab - 20 minutes
Participants will have time to design using one new idea as a model. Collaboration is optional but encouraged.
Share out - 5 minutes
Although our session will focus on examples of creativity authored by us, Apple's Everyone Can Create curriculum has been inspirational in our work as tech integrators in empowering teachers and students to go beyond the traditional uses of common edtech tools.
