Many students and their families are leveraging mobile devices as their primary learning devices for distance learning. Going beyond consumption, come explore different options to create with mobile devices using built-in apps and apps available for Android and iOS. Tap into photos, drawing and video to create products to demonstrate learning!

Many families have access to technology, but often it is limited to mobile devices with intermittent wifi access. This is the new reality of the digital divides that many families are encountering especially with more distance/remote learning happening. In this session, we will leverage mobile device to showcase to educators through mindful design, students are able to create using mobile devices.|
Jason Trinh is a hybrid teacher-coach for the Toronto District School Board, working as a science teacher and an educational technology coach. He’s a Google Certified Innovator and an Apple Distinguished Educator, and the recipient of the Ontario Premier’s Award for Teaching Excellence and the 2019 ISTE Digital Equity Network Award. Trinh is also the founder of Racialized EDU, a collective of educators curating and creating content focused on diversity and equity, and a member of the Our Voice Academy. He shares his passion for creativity, technology and equity as a writer and speaker throughout North America.
