Nicholas Provenzano is the technology coordinator and makerspace director at University Liggett School in Michigan. He’s also an author, makerspace builder, international keynote speaker and consultant. He writes for his website, TheNerdyTeacher.com, Edutopia.org and many other prominent education websites. Provenzano has been featured on CNN, in Education Week and by a number of other media outlets. He’s been recognized as the Technology Teacher of the Year by the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) and earned the Outstanding Teacher Award from ISTE. Provenzano is a Google Certified Innovator, ASCD Emerging Leader, Microsoft Minecraft Mentor, Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, Sphero Hero, Adobe Education Leader and a TEDEd Innovative Educator.
