Our objective is to teach coaches the PIC-RAT model of technology integration and to share with coaches how to use the model to assess the use of technology from the teacher and student lense.
We spent a year researching many technology models and collectively decided the PIC-RAT model was best for our district. We have also collected walkthrough data for a year assessing how teachers and students are using tech uing the PIC-RAT model.

The Digital Learning Team was created to assure that all teachers within the Kansas City Missouri Public School District could integrate technology into their teaching. In three short years, the Digital Learning Team has provided synchronous and asynchronous training to over 2,000 teachers within their district and beyond as districts from across the country have attended our trainings vis Facebook Live or our modules. Using a research-based model and data collection, the Digital Learning Team collabaratively worked together to provide innovative professional development. Since the proposal acceptance, Andrea Cook now works for LEAN LAB Education.
