Mary Keeling, MSLS, EdS, is Supervisor of Library Media Services in Newport News, VA. Mary has worked in school, academic, and museum libraries. The 2020-2021 immediate past-president of the American Association of School Librarians (AASL), she has also served as president of the Virginia Association of School Librarians, written and taught courses for AASL’s online learning platform, served on state and national committees, and written for school library journals. She chaired AASL’s Standards and Guidelines Implementation Task Force which developed a comprehensive three-year plan for launching AASL’s National School Library Standards for Learners, School Librarians, and School Libraries in 2017.
