I will review examples of how educators can integrate literacy, hands-on STEAM projects, and real world problem solving into a highly engaging project-based learning experience for k-8 students. I will have a powerpoint and physical examples of completed student projects to showcase how multidiciplinary approach to learning can support all types of learners.

3. explanation of how digital literacy and STEM can be integrated into an engaging, hands-on learning experience 5 minutes
4. example of how non-fiction literature can be integrated with hands-on projects to introduce students to and give them a first-hand experience in a range of STEM careers. - 5 minutes
