Debbie Bohanan, Zenith Accelerated Learning Academy
@https://twitter.com/bohanand ISTE affiliate: FCITL Debbie Bohanan teaches digital video to at-risk eighth to 12th graders, leveraging creativity and technology to keep her students engaged in their learning. She has been a National Board Certified Teacher since 1999, and holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Florida State and a master’s in education media design and technology from Full Sail University. She’s a DEN STAR and Leadership Council member, Tech4Learning Innovative Educator and Microsoft Innovative Educator. Bohanan authored a chapter titled “From Storyboard to Silver Screen” for the book Makers in Schools: Entering the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She’s a Teacher of the Year school winner and has been a top 10 county finalist three times during her career. During her 30-year career, she has taught students from kindergarten to grade 12. Her focus is currently on digital storytelling, and she’s presented on the topic at the ISTE conference and the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC).
