Using augmented reality after deep research, students show the connections between WWII protagonists. Experiencing the "six degrees of separation" during WWII, audiences realize how equity and inclusion are vital for survival. During their presentation students will walk the audience through their research process, how they digged in no conventional sources to prove that we are all connected, that we only have "six degrees of separation". They believe this finding should be enough to make people tolerant and inclusive. They will show how they used design thinking to come out with the use of virtual and augmented reality to communicate their discovery. They will enable the audience to embody the experience through the use of innovative technologies like virtual and augmented reality. They are quite sure that in this way they can foster empathy. They will illustrate how they think these tools can be used in so many other different projects, to foster empathy making individuals more committed with equity and inclusion.
