Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

It can be a challenge for Library Media Specialists and Tech Integrators to start a maker space from scratch or even know how to ramp up the activities so students from wide age ranges and experience level can be engaged and motivated.
The objective of this session is to dive deep into considerations that go into the planning and developing of a successful maker space filled with STEAM projects for students from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade.
The design process will not only be discussed, but utilized to help come up with various models to employ back at participant schools and districts.
Evidence of success will be seen from the share outs, takeaways, and nuggets of implementation at the end of the session
