Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this session is to engage participants in developing solutions for the challenge of evaluating student teacher internship and technology integration practices based on the 3Cs for Classroom Management. Participants will be able to survey various web tools for engaging their students in preparation programs to connect technology, pedagogy, and content in context with their future teaching practices and engaged student learning. Participants will reflect on models for technology integration to formulate strategies for pre-service teachers to transform their perspective of current student to future teacher.

Outline

Content and Activities: The internship evaluation metrics(3Cs for Classroom Management) for instructional excellence will be introduced. Technology tools will be aligned for each domain of the model. Examples of preservice teacher video products will be reviewed.

Time: 10 minutes introduction to the challenge 3Cs of Classroom Management; 20 minutes aligning integration tools with production elements; 10 minutes reviewing candidate exemplars; 10 minutes closure with Q &A

Process: Participants will use laptop, tablet, or mobile device to engage with digital templates and use various web apps to construct models for constructing templates to gather evidence of pre-service teacher performance in the field.
