The STLP State Champion projects for 2022 will be recognized at the STLP State Championships in April 2022. These projects and their presenters offer exemplars of student centered learning and have historically been sought after poster sessions at ISTE Conferences dating back over a decade. We at STLP have always appreciated the trust ISTE planners have placed in the Kentucky ISTE Affiliate (KySTE) in choosing and supporting these student teams as representatives of the Kentucky Department of Education.

The Kentucky Department of Education’s Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) uses student centered, standards based, project-based learning principles to empower student learning and achievement. STLP provides a means for every student to design, make, connect and learn through technology utilization and creation of original digital content. Established in 1994, STLP has grown to support nearly 280,000 students from member schools across our commonwealth. Each spring, thousands of learners, educators, parents, legislators and community leaders come together to celebrate students "showing what they know" through projects, digital products and technical challenges at the STLP State Championship.
