He served as CEO of Computer-Using Educators (CUE), helping the nonprofit grow fivefold in 12 years. He also served two terms on the ISTE Board of Directors, and was the director of the California Student Media Festival for a decade. He was selected as a member of the class of 2003 of Apple Distinguished Educators, co-founded the Google Certified Teacher (now Innovator) program, and helped develop the ISTE Certification for Educators program. For three years, he supported educators worldwide as the senior director of educator engagement at PowerSchool.
