I have taught at both the elementary level (1-4) and middle school level (6-8) and currently teach World Studies in MCPS, a district near Washington, DC. I have presented and modeled lessons and innovative ways to present them at the school, county, state and national level. I was a co-presenter at ISTE 2019, a presenter at ISTE 2021 and ISTE 2022. I am also a National Geographic Certified Educator & Community Leader, a Nearpod Certified Educator & PioNear, a Newsela Certified Educator & Teacher Trainer, a Kami Certified Educator and a Wakelet Certified Eduator.

Session description

This presentation will include posters of Hyperdocs and blank templates. It will include differentiated readings and address multiple learning modalities. Attendees can expect to learn how to create and utilize a UDL Hyperdoc and be provided with examples and templates.

Purpose & objective

Objective: After viewing this presentation, participants will be able to constuct a UDL Hyperdoc to meet the needs of their students.
Technology intervention: An online resource will be posted to my site if selected.
Models employed: UDL (Universal Design for Learning) resources as well as a basic Hyperdoc.
Instructional activities: UDL, Hyperdocs and how to merge the two
Evidence of Success: Google Form questionaire
