Session description

Deploying a successful personalized learning classroom involves a variety of programs, learning experiences, and a multitude of teaching strategies. The Personalized Learning Playbook workshop will walk educators through a game plan that will bring together all the critical aspects of personalized learning in one complete package.

Purpose & objective

The Personalized Learning Playbook will focus on giving the participants a mock example of what personalized learning looks like in a classroom setting. The room will be set up with different activities around the room that the participants can visit after they generate their learning plans and targets. Throughout the workshop, the participants will be able to:
Define what is Personalized Learning
Explore examples of personalized learning in a K-12 classroom
Collaborate with other participants to deepen their knowledge about personalized learning
Generate a game plan for deploying personalized learning through the Five Formation Plays laid out in the Personalized Learning Playbook.
Apply global connection by searching for personalized learning classrooms from around the country.
Apply a variety of application choices for students with the App Smashing Dice.
