Session description

Newland Middle and High School students will create an interactive computerized game using Python and Thunkable that teaches about Mexican History characters. Important information regarding these characters will be available in the game, such as names, birthdates, birth places, remarkable feats among others.

Purpose & objective

PURPOSE:
The lesson plan for this project requires integration of students so they can be really involved in a crosscurricular project such as this. They will combine their knowledge about History and Computer Science in order to create a game which reinforces what they know about Mexican History characters. Students will do research about the characters feats and use Python and Thunkable to build the game in the Computer Science Lab.

OBJECTIVE:
The aim of this project is to reinforce knowledge in a dynamic, innovative and fun way in order to make students aware of Mexican History characters.
