I am a 30-year veteran educator, an ISTE Certified Educator, an active ISTE Community Leader member, and a Colorado InnEdCO Ambassador. I am a retired Instructional Technology/STEM-CTE Teacher from Aurora Public Schools in Aurora, Colorado. As a passionate horse lover and traveler, when I am not horseback riding or enjoying a traveling adventure, I enjoy working with educators to build their passion and understanding of Technology Integration to engage students in learning. I have presented at ISTE since 2010 and Colorado’s ISTE Affiliate InnEdCO since 2007.

Julie Jaeger, PD Coach/Consultant, Veteran Elem-MS educator, Tech Integrator, and Gifted Instructor, enjoys bringing "a-ha" moments and higher order thinking via Tech Integration, Differentiated Instruction, Digital StoryTelling, and Curriculum Enrichment using Critical Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, and Questioning. Authored "I-imagine Dares Students to be Their Best Selves" (ISTE Learning and Leading, June/July 2013) and received the 2016 Digital StoryTelling Creativity Leadership Award. Currently ISTE Community Leader and ND Association for Gifted Children Board member. Former Chair of the ISTE Digital StoryTelling Network. Holds an MS in Education with Technology Integration and Credential in Gifted Education.
Adult Education Coordinator
Virginija is the Adult Education Coordinator for Panevezys County Public Library. Her work focuses on coordinating library international projects, library advocacy and strategic communication, development of international traineeship programs, presenting library services in professional publications, e-platforms and professional events.
Virginija leads a club for citizens on improving their foreign language skills and develops and implements training programs on improving the professional competencies of librarians. Virginija uses distance learning platforms that bring together multicultural communities of lifelong learning adults.
Member of Lithuanian Librarians‘ Association, Lithuanian Association od Adult Education, Europeana Education Community, American Libraries Association and Public Libraries Association.
Session description
The occupation of Lithuania silenced the voice of story. Now free, The Baltic-American Dialogue program fosters the exchange of ideas between the Baltic States and the U.S. The Global Collaboration between 2 US Educators and Lithuanian Librarians provided opportunity for Librarians the power to share their voices creatively.
Purpose & objective
Purpose and Objective
Participants will learn about Global Collaboration through Storytelling and ways this could be used between other countries and classrooms. Participants will leave with resources and ideas for connecting themselves and their classrooms with educators globally to share their students' stories to learn about the diverse cultures around the world.

Poster Session-IN Person
Using QR Codes attendees will be able to view a photo slideshow sharing the story of the event and view recorded reflections from the 2 Lithuanian educators who wrote the BAFF Grant and access resources that can be used to encourage global collaboration using storytelling done digitally to share stories. Attendees will have opportunities to talk with the 2 US Educators about their experiences in this global collaboration and discuss how Storytelling could be used between other countries, cultures, and classrooms to authentically share educator and student voices.
Poster Session-Virtual Would include all educators participate via online communication system provided by ISTE.
