In 2020, Ms James, a National Board Certified and award-winning middle school educator, started posting grammar lessons on TikTok in order to reach virtual students. Within six weeks, she had 100,000 followers. Now, she has nearly 6 million followers from 86 different countries. Not only does she serve as an inspiration to teachers, but ESL learners have learned basic grammar skills needed for language acquisition, others have received academic refreshers, and many find her content useful to study for academic tests. Ms. James says she is excited to use her platform to highlight the amazing impact ALL teachers have.
