Larisa taught 5th and 6th grade prior to becoming a full time mentor to pre-service teachers, spending years mentoring, guiding and facilitating the pre-service teachers first year. She has a Bachelors Degree in Science and a Masters Degree in Education. Larisa is a Google Certified Educator and has an endorsement in Educational Technology, Instructional Coaching, and ESL. Prior to teaching Larisa was a counselor at a treatment facility.

Dive into the game of educational leadership with the ISTE Leadership Standards: a dynamic presentation offering strategies to level up Admin-Coach partnerships. We'll explore digital tools and tactics to boost collaboration, streamline coaching plans, and ultimately, transform your school's coaching program into a high-scoring success story.

Purpose & objective

Purpose: The presentation, "Achievement Unlocked: Winning Strategies for an Effective Admin-Coach Partnership," aims to explore and illustrate the power of collaborative partnerships between administrators and coaches in creating and implementing a digital coaching plan.
Objectives: By the end of this presentation, participants will:
Understand the importance of an effective admin-coach partnership in the context of digital education.
Be capable of initiating and maintaining a collaborative relationship between admins and coaches.
Know how to use specific technology tools effectively to enhance coaching.
Begin to develop a digital coaching plan.
Be equipped to measure the success of their digital coaching plan and make necessary adjustments.
Educational Challenge: The current challenge is creating an effective digital coaching plan that meets the diverse needs of students and teachers while addressing the ever-changing landscape of digital education.
Lesson Plans/Strategies: We'll introduce strategies like regular meet-ups for discussion and progress tracking and creating a shared digital space for resources and plans.
Evidence of Success: Success will be measured by participants' ability to create and implement a digital coaching plan, as well as positive feedback and improved outcomes in their respective teaching environments. We'll share testimonials of successful admin-coach partnerships that have transformed their learning environments with digital coaching.

Outline

1-Understand the importance of an effective admin-coach partnership in the context of digital education. (15 mins)
Include testimonials to discuss the impact of coaching plans. Turn and talk discussions.
2- Be capable of initiating and maintaining a collaborative relationship between admins and coaches. (10 min)
Introduce the coaching plan format. Give real examples of how plans have been implemented.
3- Know how to use specific technology tools effectively to enhance coaching. (5 min)
How spreadsheets are an effective tool to create a digital coaching plan.
4- Begin to develop a digital coaching plan. (15 min)
Sharing a template and allowing coaches and admin opportunities to adjust for their school setting. Provide a template for coaches and admin to plan the template based on their school needs.
5- Be equipped to measure the success of their digital coaching plan and make necessary adjustments. (10 min)
Survey results and forms to guide future development.
