Session description

In this hands-on session, participants will learn how to use artificial intelligence to transform existing lesson plans and materials into more accessible formats for all learners. Using the principles of Universal Design for Learning, we will explore how to provide multiple means of engagement, representation, and action and expression.

Purpose & objective

Participants will be able to use free AI tools to modify existing lesson plans and materials to accommodate learner variation in the domains of engagement, representation, and action & expression.

Participants will collaborate during the session to reflect on the modifications they prompted AI to make and how slight differences in prompts impacted the modifications.

Participants will leave the session with a toolkit of digital resources to help them modify their existing lesson plans and materials for their learners as well as conversation starters to share resources with peers or other educators in their school/district.
