Evan Mosier is a Technology Innovator (coach) from Davenport, Iowa who is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and an ISTE Certified Educator. In addition to his work with teachers and Google, Evan is also a Flipgrid Ambassador, Wakelet Ambassador, and #ditchbook Ambassador having worked with and presented alongside Matt Miller on various occasions.
Session description
Ever wondered how to run Google Certification cohorts for teachers in an entire district? We ran two cohorts for Level I and Level II Google Certification in a district of over 1,200 teachers. Learn how to structure the training and use effective methods. Plus discover the resources we used.
Purpose & objective
By the end of the presentation, participants will better understand:
- How to Start a Google Cohort in their Building and district
- Methods and scheduling to running a successful district-wide
cohort
- A weekly calendar and schedule to keeping several cohorts near
the same module
- Why it is important to incorporate Google into the Classroom
- Different types of resources to make the Cohort successful
